Chaos Releases V-Ray 7 Beta

Chaos has released the beta version of V-Ray 7, introducing an array of powerful new features. Key highlights include a new plugin for rendering Gaussian splatting models (I am very excited to explore this!), and a V-Ray Profiler for 3ds Max CPU rendering, offering in-depth performance insights.

The release also brings updates to Chaos Scatter with an Instance Brush for painting objects, plus improved scene management tools such as a revamped Scene Converter. Notably, GPU rendering now includes initial caustics support and optimized bitmap handling.

Founded by Hani Troudi, the platform focuses on providing high-quality 3D assets. Alongside premium collections, Model Basket offers a dedicated section of free models, allowing users to sample the quality of the assets.
